With all of the chaos in our world at the moment, sometimes creating art of any kind can feel futile. I’ve been wrestling with that feeling, and I don’t know how to get around it. All I know how to do is make things. I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember. They’ve been in many different forms, but the one thing that’s been constant is that it’s constant. It’s a true outlet for me, and I don’t know how to put it another way.
I don’t have any interest in diving into the meaning of these works. I’d prefer people deal with that on their own. What something means to me is of no consequence to another person. We don’t always have to be told what to do.
Each work is 30X22”. They are all acrylic & oils. They are all unframed.
